The Sealed-BlokTM Self Retracting Lifeline (SRL) series is available in 15, 30 and 50 foot lengths. The revolutionary sealed design keeps the critical working components, including the brake, power spring and energy absorber, free of dirt, grease, water and chemicals. The sealed design assures that the SRL operates at peak efficiency, no matter how dirty or damp the environment. In addition, RSQ models are available offering dual-mode operation for both fall arrest and rescue capabilities. The 50 ft. models also include an exclusive FASTLINE feature allowing the cable lifeline to be replaced on-site right in the field eliminating downtime.
The SRL’s cast aluminum housing and stainless steel parts resist damage and provide corrosion resistance. In addition, the unit features a built-in carrying handle that makes transport and anchoring safe and easy. The Sealed-BlokTM also provides a secondary “dropped objects protection” attachment point and the large pivoting anchorage stays in line with the load for added security and allows for use with a variety of connecting hardware.
An anti-ratcheting brake stops falls within inches and limits arresting forces to 900 lbs. for added safety. The reserve lifeline system maintains a 2 foot reserve for shock absorption when the entire lifeline is extended.
