BME has built more than four hundred Fire Trucks for the US Forest Service, alone. Many of these trucks spend their entire working lives in an off-road environment. These Agencies return to BME, year after year, for trucks because the BME product has earned a reputation for being rugged and reliable. BME utilizing state of the art equipment for the design and manufacturing of our Fire Apparatus. We utilize AutoCAD and Solid Works 3D automated and computerized drafting workstations in our engineering department. All Fire Engines are designed from the ground up with each Fire Department's needs in mind. We manufacture our products in a modern 25,000 sq. ft. facility using the finest materials available. We incorporate industry leading major components such as; for example; Hale®, Waterous® or Darley® Fire Pumps, Class One gauges and wiring systems, Akron® and Elkhart Brass® goods, United Plastics Poly Tanks®, Custom Fiberglass® water tanks, and many others. The design and materials are blended with experienced and detailed craftsmanship resulting in a quality product, unsurpassed in the industry.
